I am always learning. Not because I want to add accolades behind my name, but because I believe we need to stay adaptable and open to learning. As a coach, I understand there are many ways to skin the cat and I understand I don't know everything. As an athlete, I want to have a coach who understands he/she does not know everything and is open and adaptable to keep learning.
I don't believe a science degree is an end-all but I do believe a science degree sets the coach apart from the influencers who have not bothered to put in the work that it takes (years!) to achieve a graduate degree. It's kinda same with sports. You've got to put in the work, often years, to be able to reap the harvest. Pun intended.
